About This Blog

This is my attempt to chronicle my fiber arts, and how they interact with my religion, spirituality, and magic.
I spin (hand spindles only, the only wheel I own is a charkha and I’ve never gotten the hang of it), weave (on multiple types of loom), dye, paint silk, throw bobbin lace, felt, and really, whatever else catches my fancy.

The connection between the fiber arts and religion is actually a very old one, which is something I’ll be talking about here, probably a lot.
The current banner is a length of silk/thistledown I was experimenting with. My current icon is the same yarn on my rainbow spindle.
